Any ideas? As I've said before, it has to be HTML only. That way it's "joe" proof and the rest of the crew can take this new structure and start using it with minimal edits on their end. As in you start with an empty images folder and as you add images to the folder, the "gallery.html" will automatically update with the correct link to the image(s) just added. I showed one of my supervisors this proof of concept, and they were impressed with it, however, they won't implement it unless the above process is, for the most part, automated. I was able to figure that part out by creating a separate HTML document and essentially doing the following: click here to access the images of Ĭopy and paste the above code for each picture in the folder. The only issue is that it has to be HTML ONLY. However, I was just told that I have free reign to change it up so that when you click on the images link, it takes you to a gallery view of the provided images (in a thumbnail type form factor) and whenever you click on them, they open in a new tab at full size. This is good enough for my company, as that is what they have been doing for years now. However, when you click on a link that takes you to the folder with the images, it only shows you the local folder structure with links to the images. These reports are very bare-bones and contain links to product documentation as well as product images. I am the only one who uses any sort of IDE (just notepad++ to be honest) with self-taught knowledge post-college. Everyone uses Microsoft Word to edit their HTML reports.

The thing is, nobody in my company knows how to use HTML (to include myself). At my job I am required to generate HTML reports for clients to view on their own time.
